    Perform necessary functions to ensure all employees are accurately and timely paid for work performed on behalf of CROSSMARK.


    • Process changes to employee status, assignment within company and rate of pay based on transfers, promotions and demotions.
    • Process status changes for employee terminations to include calculation of hours and wages for final payroll check.
    • Assist employees/management with inquiries related to payroll checks which may include research and data entry corrections ensuring quick and courteous resolution and accurate payment.
    • Assist with review of payroll reports in preparation of weekly payroll processing cycle. 
    • Process and maintain employee data of tax withholding certificates and miscellaneous deductions.
    • Receive and review garnishment, child support, and lien information from agencies and courts.
    • Prepare and transmit garnishment, child support and lien information to ADP.
    • Prepare and transmit ADP reports and funding requests for garnishment, child support and lien payments.
    • Provide assistance to other team members as needed.
    • Special projects and other duties as assigned.

    Education:  High school diploma or general education degree (GED).


    Experience:  2 - 3 years related experience and/or training.


    Physical Demands: Primarily sitting at a desk with some walking to various departments or meetings, occasional light lifting, filing and periods of standing.


    Specific Skills: Ability to maintain confidentiality related to company and employee information; effective organization and time-management with the ability to multi-task; ability to grasp complex concepts and apply knowledge; ability to analyze and interpret payroll and financial data; accuracy in working with large amounts of data; ability to assume responsibility for accuracy and timeliness of work product; good verbal and written communication skills; exceptional customer service skills.


    Computer skills: Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products to include Outlook, Word and Excel.


    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:  None.


    Supervisory Responsibilities:  None.


    Work Conditions:  Office environment.


    Travel Requirements:  None


    Language Skills:  English is the primary language skill, however, bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
